The main purpose of HingsteNet, is to gather all significant information regarding approved breeding stallions of all acknowledged breeds, under the motto "from Shetland to Shire" HingsteNet is a genuine offer for all stallion owners, through a joint index of all breeds, to reach a lager target group than the own within one's own breeding association. The stallion is presented with current pictures and all relevant information, such as pedigree, inherited qualities and for instance conditions for live-in mares. Here, the owner has the possibility to give all relevant information about his stallion, and all practical information about the cover or the delivery of the semen. If the owner has a website, links will be made. The most practical thing about HingsteNet is that you only have to look one place if you have mares of different breeds. To join all breeds in one-place makes searching for information much easier, whether you are a breeder, rider or just interested in horses. The website has a user-friendly design which simplifies the searching, also for those who aren't used to search the Internet. The database admits stallions of any breeding association approved in Denmark, and any other stallion approved by the EU outside of Denmark. As for the active stallion that is either elected, has breeding approval or license for breeding, we can offer a once-for-all price for registration and use of our database. Online-sign up of the Stallion As something new, you can be established as user of HingsteNet.dk. You can sign up your stallion yourself, giving all the information of your choice and you can upload three pictures of the stallion, directly from your own computer. No more than ten days after the sign-up, you will receive an invoice. The stallion goes online and is available for searching, after the payment. As easy as it gets! Part-purpose for HingsteNet.dk HingesteNet.dk will aim to create an Internet studbook that includes interesting breeding stallions, which are no longer active, due to death or deselecting. Even though a stallion is no longer active, many riders and breeders will still be interested in searching for information about the stallions who used to breed. This Internet studbook is a free-of-charge service for all equine enthusiasts, and it will take a long time to create. Therefore, it would be a tremendous help, if all stallion owners and former owners who feel like it, would contribute with information and pictures of stallions that used to be active. This is also easy to do online. In our database, you can establish and compile all relevant information about a deceased or deselected stallion. Any information of election and other results should be correct, and in accordance with results given from the breeding association.
